Counselor’s Corner
- Seniors—a reminder that the completion of a FAFSA form (or opt-out form) is a graduation requirement. If students have questions about the requirement they should see their counselor. If students need help completing the FAFSA they should visit the GO Center in the library to meet with our GO Center reps who can assist with FAFSA and other college admissions questions.
- 9th, 10th, and 11th graders—this week (likely on Tuesday 4/22) all parents will receive an email from MISD Guidance and Counseling with information about viewing your student’s course requests for the upcoming 25-26 school year. The email will also include information about how to make any changes to these requests. Students and parents will have approximately a week to review these course requests and ask for changes if needed. A deadline (likely April 29th) will be included in the email. Please watch your email carefully and review these course requests. These requests are used to create our master schedule for the upcoming year.
