Back to School information for Summit HS is being finalized for the 2026-27 school year.  Please refer to the sections below for the latest details.  Check back often for changes and updates. Questions can be directed to the front office by calling 682-314-0800.

2026-27 First Day & School Hours

Our first day of school will be Wednesday, August 12, 2026.  We open the doors at 6:55 for breakfast, and class begins at 7:25.  Our school day ends at 2:55.  Eventually we will have tutoring hours from 3-5pm with bus transportation home, but that does not start until the first progress report comes out.

2026-27 Registration & Schedule Pickup

• Wednesday, July 29^th  -  Sophomores / Seniors
   
• Thursday, July 30th  -  Freshman / Juniors
   
• Time – 8:30 to 11:30 am and 12:30 to 2:30 pm
   
• Students must turn in their proof of residency and pay fees prior to getting their schedule

2026-27 Fish Fest

• Date – July 30th
   
• Time – 5:00 to 6:30 pm

2026-27 PTECH Freshman Orientation

• Date - July 30th
   
• Time - 2:30 - 4:30pm
   
• Meet in J6

2026-27 Meet the Jags

• Date – Monday, August 17^th
   
• Time – 5:00 to 7:00 pm
