  • FAFSA for Seniors - Seniors: The FAFSA is now open! As you may have heard, the state of Texas now requires seniors to complete the FAFSA or formally opt out. If you are planning to attend college, you should complete the FAFSA. Even if you don’t think you’ll qualify for “free” money, many colleges require the FAFSA to be completed and use it when considering students for scholarships. We have scheduled some evening hands on help events at the MISD Center for the Performing Arts for you to get the help you need! The first one is Wed. October 13th. To register for the event, please go to the counseling office or Go Center for details! Plan to bring your Chromebook or personal device.

  • National Yearbook Week - October 4th through 8th is National Yearbook Week. Yearbooks have come a long way from their beginnings. Yearbooks were more like scrapbooks containing hair, dried flowers and notes from friends. It wasn't until many years later that senior pictures were added and even later before pictures of all students, staff and school activities were added. Celebrate National Yearbook week by purchasing your 2022 yearbook for $60 at yearbookforever.com. This is the lowest price of the year and will not last forever.
