  • Veterans Day - Good Day All, Summit High School is on the cusp of celebrating Veterans Day, Thursday, November 11th, 09:30 AM, in the Varsity Gym. Our agenda will include a 30 minute program featuring our ROTC Cadre, our band and a speaker. Students and staff, in Summit Love fashion, there will be invitations going to your families, the community, and to our classes (any that may find the program of historic and academic value). Lastly, staff, if you're new this year to Summit and are a veteran, please let Dr. McCombs know through email.
     
  • November Library Activities - Come to the library to check out all of our November activities.  We have a new scavenger hunt, new color sheets, a BreakOut Box contest, and a Fall selfie area for you to take pictures.  Of course, you can still check out a book. There is something in the library for everyone.  Stop by today.
     
  • Toys for Tots Donations - Toys for Tots is coming.  Any staff member that donates 2+ toys to room A5 will get to wear jeans for the rest of the semester! Any student that donates 2+ toys will get a pass (attached to their id) to wear a hat (not a hoodie) for the rest of the semester! The B day advisory class (7th period) with the most toys will get a PIZZA party donated by StuCo! The due date for all toys is the Monday after Thanksgiving break, November 29th.
     
  • Dual Credit Information Night - Students: Don’t forget, the dual credit information night will be tonight at 6:30 PM at the MISD Center for Performing Arts. Come learn about all that MISD has to offer. Now is the time to start preparing for courses next school year. Hope to see you there!
     
  • Music Club - Don’t forget!  The Music Club meets on Tuesdays from 3 - 5 pm in the Lecture Hall.  All who enjoy playing music are welcome to attend no matter your skill level.  See Ms. Chu for details.
     
  • Meet the Jags Night - It is basketball season! We will have Meet the Jags on the Court tonight at 6:00 p.m. in the main gym. Come out for games and fun. It is FREE, FREE, FREE!!
     
  • MOB Crew - Enjoyed the performance by the MOB dance crew at the last pep rally? There are still plenty of opportunities for you to be a part of our next performances like Toys for Tots, basketball games and the Multicultural Fair! Come learn and have fun dancing with the MOB starting TODAY after school in the dance room. For more info ask Ms. Martin in H4.
     
  • Senior Brunch - Seniors! purchase your ticket for our annual Senior Brunch, this is only available for 150 Seniors. So don't delay; purchase your ticket today at the bookkeeper's window for $10. The Brunch is Nov. 19th, and all proceeds will be used for your prom.
     
  • FCA Club - Free Doughnuts!!!! Meet us, the FCA club, in the lecture hall on Monday, November 15th during Advisory for Mr. DJ and doughnuts. You will not be disappointed.
