SHS COUNSELOR’S CORNER

We have level change forms available in the counseling center for any student wanting to request to switch out of or into an advanced class for the spring semester (for example a student might choose to move up to an advanced class if they’re needing a challenge, or they might decide to request to drop an advanced class if they’re struggling in a class).

Making a request to change the level of a class doesn’t guarantee the change will happen.  Counselors will review grades, teacher and parent input, and class sizes while considering level change requests. 
 

• Unfortunately, all requests cannot be honored.
   
• Students may pick up and return level change forms in the counseling center.
   
• The priority deadline for returning forms is December 17^th.
